I remember reading in a Hardy Boys mystery (of all places!) where they were investigating a haunted house that when they entered a certain part of it they would begin to feel an uncontrollable fear and would ran headlong out of the house. When they solved the mystery this feeling was caused by a very high note being played on the piano. It was so high that they couldn't hear it but it caused uncontrollable fear and panic. Could the bigfoot be emitting this same sound? And if they are, why only at certain times? Could they possibly feel like they are in danger when they make it and this is their defense? Just thinking out loud. What are your thoughts on this?

If what they said on tv is true about the high pitch it would explain an awful lot.

With all the sharp thinkers we have here I can't help but believe we have enough talent on this forum to test the high frequentcy project.

Well guys, what about it?

I also want to add what I found on line today.

I found a site about Haunted Ohio today. One part talked about "Ghost towns" in Ohio. Most just became abandoned. Some got swallowed up. They named one called Dogtown in Newark Ohio. Just like the bigger Citys land was annexed and swallowed up by larger towns. At one time "Dogtown" was an area that hada population of Man-dog crosses that lived in the area. ( A very old legend)
I'll try and find out more.

Infra-sound or below human hearing levels have been found to cause panic. The military has been experimenting with infra-sound emitting nonlethal weapons.

On Monsterquest last night it dealt with the Dogmen in Wisconsin. I didn't get to watch all of it as I had to go to bed so that I could get up early for school. Did anyone else get to? I only got to watch about the first 20 minutes or so. This part dealt mainly with several sightings. It did at least make a distinction between the dogmen and the bigfoot and what they were.

The popular view of the purpose of an army is to kill people and break things.

There has for many years been an interest in defeating an enemy without destroying the infra-structure, though -
Removing their soldiers from the battle without destroying their countries means of survival is a goal which we still strive for.
Shoot, look at Japan.
We had to NUKE them to end the war, then we poured in TONS of money to help them re-build what we blew up, and ended up putting them in a position to wage economic war with us - and to a large extent WIN it.

Infra sound is one of those means being researched, along with many others, to cause an army to stop fighting without our having to blow anything up.

I favor this approach above that of developing larger bombs.
